Michael Collins has very generously donated the rosette he made in the recent mini tutorial. This is inlaid into a well figured redwood top. Davids work is very beautiful. Thanks again Michael!!! I know we haven't had an auction in a while, but this will end on Friday @ noon (EST) in the normal fashion. |

Brock; David & I really appreciate all your nice descriptions of the rosette. BUT I have to tell you the top is only 14 7/8th wide. sound hole size can be as large as 90mm(3 7/8th) Sorry! I forgot to give the demensions! Mike Collins ![]() |

Yep, it looked like quite a bargin to me. I am even thinking of applying my wood stretcher to it so I can make it into an OM. Actually, the binding and purfling should make up for the 1/8". |
